55 Nassau Street North is a thirty-eight storey condominium apartment tower conveniently located in the Fort Rouge / Osborne Village area of the City of Winnipeg, in the Province of Manitoba, Canada. Built in 1970 by Ruttan Investment Corp. Ltd., a former real estate development company, with a height of 108 metres or 354 feet and at 38-storeys, it is currently the tallest condominium apartment residential tower in Winnipeg.* This landmark building is visible from several miles away as you approach the city by airplane or vehicle. It is not only the tallest residential building located near the geographical centre of North America and Canada, but also within Canada itself between the cities of Calgary, Alberta in the west and Hamilton, Ontario in the east. Within the city of Winnipeg, it is surpassed in height by the three tallest office / commercial buildings located at the famous world-renowned corner of Portage Avenue and Main Street, in the city's financial business centre:
